Welcome to Golden Puppy Acres!
We are the Nisley Family, living on 40 acres in Southern MI, surrounded by lots more farmland. Since we are a family run operation, as a unit we care deeply about the wellbeing and health of each of our dogs. So let’s have some introductions!
Marion & Carolyn, the Pa & Ma of the crew here, have been married for almost 21 years. Marion works fulltime as a project manager at KC Innovations, where he does a little bit of everything, from sales, lots of phone calls, doing training & installing business phone systems. Here at home, he is great in keeping things in order, with systems in place for accurate record keeping. He is a brilliant tech guy, who is an expert at troubleshooting. The vaccinations, and vet visits, and general oversight of our operation is from Marion!
Carolyn loves keeping things on the home front rolling, with hands on care of the puppies, and adult dogs, to the kitchen, & gardening, and a highlight is homeschooling her boys. Overall helping out with the behind -the-scenes activities as needed. Taking very seriously the foundational health of each of our dogs, and the proper cleaning protocols of our dogs’ environments.
Kevin, our firstborn is 19, and spends most of his time on the road with his job. When he is home he loves to play and snuggle the pups!
Alayna is 16, and has her sights set on becoming a vet tech. She is the happiest when she is spending time with her animals. She has a gifted intuition with animals, that is tremendously valuable with our dogs.
Andrew is 14, and is a right hand man, with the day to day care of each of the dogs. He has a huge caring heart, with a great sense of humor! He loves meeting new dogs, and new people!
Kendrick, the youngest is 11, and is very involved with the day to day activities with each of our dogs. The dogs appreciate his laid back and calm personality! He can spend hours just chilling with a dog. He is a deep thinker, and cares deeply about those around him. He especially enjoys detailed projects!
We as a family work together and play together! We believe family interactions in caring for our puppies, raises the best companions!
